This conjunction only used to connect 2 simple sentences to be combined sentence. This conjunction is a part of the 1st sentence.

1. Result (therefore, consequently, accordingly, hence, thus) Is a connector which has theresults mean.
2. Addition (moreover, besides, in addition, furthermore) Is a connector which has additional meaning.
